The City of Newton is requesting qualifications/proposals for Safety Action Plan for Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Grant project with the intent to develop Newton & Harvey County Safe Streets for All Action Plans and Supplemental Planning Development with an overarching goal of eliminating fatalities and serious injuries on our transportation facilities for all users. The consultant for this project will be chosen directly by a project review committee. Some of the factors that will be considered when choosing a consultant for the project are as follows: 1. Professional Qualifications 2. Statement of Availability/Approach 3. Experience with SS4A Action Plans/Projects or work with FHWA 4. Quality Assurance. Please be sure to acknowledge compliance with the attached City of Newton Contractual Provisions Attachment, include details regarding project leaders, team members, and their associated man-hours and costs in your proposal.
