Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Newton, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The BIDDER agrees WORK shall be substantially completed within 100 working days and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions. BIDDER accepts the provisions of the Agreement as to liquidated damages in the event of failure to complete the Work on time. Liquidated damages shall be $ 850.00 per working day. Doc note: The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid, Bid Bond, Agreement, General Conditions, Supplemental General Conditions, Payment Bond, Performance Bond, Statutory Bond, Notice of Award, Notice to Proceed, Change Order, Drawings, Specifications and Addenda, may be examined at the following locations: City Hall - 201 E. 6th Street.. Newton, Kansas 67114 The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Documents are for view and reference only. Any contractors wishing to be on the bidders list and be eligible to bid, MUST contact the City to get an electronic set of plans and to ensure they receive any addendums issued.
