Site work for a water / sewer project in Silverdale, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
N44255-21-R-2001 Replace and overhaul MDP 1, 2, 3 Discharge Valves including 3 new gate valves, actuators and slip joints. The area of repair will be from each pump's suction bell flange to the common concrete discharge culvert. Repairs will include the following: - Replace Suction Bell Flanges that are essentially flush with the floor and seals to the lower suction. (Fully replace the flanges while we have access instead of going through blasting and evaluating and potentially doing a partial repair.) - Replace each MDP Discharge Valve, with a new, rising stem, double-disc gate valve. - Replace each MDP Discharge Valve operator, with a new Limitorque Model L120-40 unit (see J&A for pumpwell operators/actuators), wire new operators to remote indication at PW operations deck control panel. - Blast, paint, inspect, repair, and recoat piping segments from the discharge valve to the concrete discharge culvert. - Paint all new piping segments and equipment stands. Paint shall meet saltwater environment requirements of SOLAS REGULATIONS II-1/3-2 and XII/6.3, MIL-PRF-24647 for underwater hull, and MIL-PRF-23236 for ballast tanks. - Touch up paint all equipment and piping segments (from suction flange to concrete wall), ladders, equipment stands, flooring, and walls as required at end of job. Paint shall meet saltwater environment requirements of SOLAS REGULATIONS II-1/3-2 and XII/6.3, MIL-PRF-24647 for underwater hull, and MIL-PRF-23236 for ballast tanks - Performance Verification and Acceptance Test upon completion (Note) Replacing the Suction Bell Flanges will require draining of the wet well and would require that all three pump be off-line during this work. So following should be kept through out the project timelines; - One Pump Off-line at a time - Provide Temp Drainage System to control water in the wet well - Maintain water-tight boundaries to the pumpwell by installing blanks when components are removed PPIs shall be submitted via email to Jason.a.lewis34.civ@us.navy.mil. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
