Renovation of a military facility in Silverdale, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The contractor shall procure, install, and commission IW9167E Cisco Ultra-Reliable Wireless Backhaul access points to enhance the operational resilience of mission-critical control systems at Naval Base Kitsap. The scope includes conducting site assessments, developing installation plans, physically installing outdoor wireless access points, antennas, and associated components between Buildings 1100 and 1305, and validating system performance. All work must comply with Navy safety regulations, DoD cybersecurity policies, and applicable building codes. The contractor is responsible for connecting devices to PoE-enabled switches with UPS and generator backup, labeling components per Navy IT standards, and coordinating with government representatives to avoid operational disruption. System validation must confirm a minimum throughput of 600 Mbps, signal strength of -65 dBm, and 99.9% network uptime. Deliverables include site assessment and installation plans, monthly progress reports, installation and validation reports, warranty documentation, and as-built diagrams. A minimum 12-month warranty is required, with response times of 3 business days for non-critical issues and 24 hours for mission-critical failures. All work must be completed within 60 calendar days of contract award. Location of Work: All installation, testing, and commissioning activities will be performed at Naval Base Kitsap, Building 1100 & 1305, (Naval Base Kitsap) Silverdale, WA.
