Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed bids must be marked 2025 Concrete Project. This project consists of approximately 370 linear feet of curb and gutter removal and replacement, 1,870 square feet of sidewalk replacement, and 6,760 square feet of driveway approaches and apron reconstruction. All concrete work shall utilize KCMMB 4K concrete, except for three designated driveway approach and apron locations, which shall require KCMMB 4K concrete modified with a 24-hour high-early strength additive to allow reopening to traffic within 24 hours of placement. Bids received for any project after the specified time will be returned unopened to the sender. Bids will be evaluated by the City based on price, quality, experience of the Contractor, responsiveness of the contractor, adaptability of the particular materials and equipment to the specific use intended and conformity to specifications. The City reserves the right to select the bid that best suits its need whether the price is the lowest or not and reserves the right to reject all bids or waive informalities. Monday, August 25, 2025 Award by City Council Substantial completion shall be completed within 30 Working Days. All work shall be completed within 45 Working Days.
