Renovation of a municipal facility in Corona, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

**As of August 28 , 2025 project has been canceled. As of this time it is unknown if an when project will rebid. 91 Express Lanes Toll Plaza Plumbing Project Project Description and Background The Authority is a state-mandated, countywide transportation agency. OCTA was formed in 1991 to develop and implement transportation programs to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality. As one (1) agency, OCTA provides Orange County with a single point of accountability and a greater voice for residents for all transportation issues. As an important part of OCTA's staff development programs, OCTA is searching for a qualified contractor to perform plumbing repairs at the 91 Express Lanes Toll Plaza. Under the terms of the agreement, the Contractor shall locate approximately 1,250 linear feet "LF" of existing and failed 1" copper water main. The Contractor shall sawcut asphalt where required, remove old copper pipe and replace with new Schedule 80 PVC. Trench must be a minimum of 18" deep to the top of the pipe, backfilled and properly compacted to prevent settling. The Contractor shall remove and replace the existing 1" valve at the mainline tie-in with a new, certified lead-free valve. The Contractor shall also connect to the small employee facility with a sink and toilet at the end of the water main. This facility shall be connected to the new 1" PVC waterline with a transition from PVC to copper, utilizing a 1" Certified lead-free valve and fittings required to make this connection. Asphalt repairs shall be paved to a depth of 4" minimum, properly compacted in a professional and permanent manner, and edges tacked and sealed. If striping is disturbed during this project, either from trenching or other construction damage, it shall be restriped per Caltrans specs. If any of the new water main is in any dirt area outside of the asphalt, this dirt area shall be returned to its natural and existing state. The Contractor will be required to furnish any necessary materials, equipment, and labor for the work to be completed. The contractor assumes the risk of price increases to any labor, equipment, or materials needed for the work. OCTA shall only pay the awarded bid price for the project.
