Site work for a mixed-use development in Concord, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

** As of August 26,2025, no bid received for this project. No definite date for the rebid.** The work to be done in general consists of mobilization; traffic control; public convenience; installation of construction fencing; storm water pollution and erosion control; clearing and grubbing, tree trimming, tree and root protection; protection of existing improvements; removal and installation of existing signs; removal of benches; dredging of approximately 4,500 cubic yards of material from the upper pond and 5,500 cubic yards of material from the lower pond including filtering, drying and spreading of dredged material; landscape improvements with new temporary irrigation; miscellaneous storm drain improvements; and all other work shown on the Plans and as specified in the Project Manual and all other work as specified in these Special Conditions, Technical Provisions, and as shown on the Plans. The Bid Form must be accompanied by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's or certified check made payable to City, or a bid bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California on the Bid Bond form included with the Contract Documents The bid security must guarantee that within ten days after City issues the Notice of Potential Award, the successful bidder will execute the Contract and submit the payment and performance bonds, insurance certificates and endorsements, and any other submittals required by the Contract Documents and as specified in the Notice of Potential Award. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the Contract Price, as further specified in the Contract Documents. Project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements applicable to the locality in which the Work is to be performed for each craft, classification or type of worker needed to perform the Work, including employer payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation, apprenticeship and similar purposes. Time for Final Completion. The Project must be fully completed within 100 working days (weekends and holidays excluded) from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. City anticipates that the Work will begin in June 2026, but the anticipated start date is provided solely for convenience and is neither certain nor binding.
