Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Valley, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Bid amounts will not be released until the Board of Commissioners has evaluated the bids in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders and has awarded the project to the winning contractor. The project consists of park improvements at both North Peach Park and South Peach Park, as outlined in the attached documents. Improvements include demolition and replacement of baseball field fencing and dugouts, resurfacing of parking lots and access roads, replacement of scoring booths at football, soccer, and baseball fields, and cleaning and staining of multiple picnic pavilions. Additional improvements at North Peach Park include selected trail resurfacing, drainage enhancements, and storm drain replacements, as well as clearing and grubbing of the area between the existing paved walking trail and Byron Middle School. All work will be awarded in one (1) contract. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bond must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed with the Department of the Treasury. Peach County reserves the right to reject all bids, to waive informalities, to re-advertise and/orto award any bid that is in the best interest of Peach County.
