The Department of Health (DOH), Hawaii State Hospital (HSH), is interested in seeking a contract for the replacement of one Split System Air Conditioning Unit in Building "A" on the grounds of Hawaii State Hospital. See attachment for specifications. Remove and Dispose of one (1) Split System Air Conditioning Unit in the Administrative Building on campus. One system is in the Telecommunications Office A. Removal and Replace: Removal & disposal of existing 6-ton package unit Replace w/ a single ceiling hung split unit w/ highest capacity to match existing package unit. B. Installation requirements Hang indoor unit & core holes as needed for refrigerant piping. Install new drain lines & re-use existing drain connections or install condensate pump if needed. Adjust existing structural support to accommodate new outdoor unit & install new outdoor unit. Run refrigerant lines between outdoor unit & indoor unit. Leak check refrigerant lines & insulate. The warranty shall state that, in case of any workmanship defects that will occur within the period of at least one (1) year, the Contractor shall implement the necessary corrective work without charging the State for the costs of materials, labor, and equipment use. The Contractor shall provide the equipment and installation services required under the contract from August 18, 2025 to December 31, 2025, unless the contract is sooner terminated. The State reserves the right to cancel this procurement or award at any time and for convenience by providing four (4) weeks prior written notice to the Contractor.
