Furnish upon an hourly basis as needed the following equipment with the necessary operators for the purpose of snow plowing, snow removal, and salting and cindering Township roads. Materials to be supplied by Birmingham Township, but stored by the successful bidder during the 2025/2026 winter season: 1. Mount Plows/Spreaders on vehicles - One time charge 2. After hours Prep for Salt trucks for Forecasted Weather 3. 2 1/2 yard track loader 4. 1 1/2 yard track loader 5. Grader with 14-foot blade 6. D-8 track dozer with 12-foot blade 7. D-4 track dozer with 9-foot blade 8. 1 1/2 yard rubber tire loader and backhoe 9. Dump truck with 10-foot plow and spreader 10 4x4 truck with 8-foot plow and spreader 11. Tractor and lowboy 12. Labor rate 13. Hauling Salt/Antiskid from Supplier to Stockpile/Storage 14. Salt/Antiskid Storage as needed (November - April) 15. Overtime rate The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to Birmingham Township. Bidder must also supply proof of workers' compensation insurance and liability insurance at $500,000.00 minimum. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a written agreement with the Township and to provide a performance bond in the amount of $100,000.00. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
