The project involves the expansion of the Community Living Center (CLC) at the H.H. McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. This is a competitive Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside under the VA's Minor Construction Program, with a magnitude of construction estimated between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. The base bid includes all work outlined in the scope, drawings, and specifications, with a performance period of 548 calendar days from the notice to proceed. The solicitation includes eight deduct alternates that progressively reduce the scope and performance period if the base bid exceeds available funding.
