(Exact Locations need to be verified by the bidders) LICENSE REQUIRED - The following license is required for this project: C-12 - Earthwork and Paving Contractors, C-8 - Concrete Contractor, and A - General Engineering Contractor Questions: Date: July 31, 2025 Time: On or before 1:30 p.m. PST Must be in the form of an Email. The bidder understands that a contract is formed upon the acceptance of its bid by the County. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES - It is agreed that time is of the essence for completion of this work. Therefore, the parties agree the awarded bidder (Contractor) shall pay to the County, as fixed and liquidated damages, and not as penalty, a dollar sum in the amount of $100.00 per day for each calendar day beyond the allowed time stated in the Contract Documents after which the work is completed. Liquidated damages shall be assessed after the commencement of the 5th day. TIME FOR COMPLETION - The work, in any area shall commence 5 business days upon notification from the County or on a date to be specified in a written order from the County. Each area shall be completed within seven (7) days, and All work, in all areas shall be completed by December 30, 2025. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any discrepancy, technicality, or informalities in a bid or in the bidding process, and to make the award in any manner determined by the County to be most advantageous to the County.
