No definite date for the rebid.** The Sunrise Recreation and Park District (SRPD) is seeking an experienced professional contractor to provide services for the construction of the Kathy Cook Amphitheater at Rusch Community Park. SRPD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any technicalities, informalities, and irregularities, to accept or reject all or any part of the proposal, and to be the sole judge of suitability on the proposal offer. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to determine which bid, in the judgment of the Board, is the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder. This project involves the construction, and installation of a permanent, covered outdoor stage to support community events, performances, and recreational programming. The stage will be constructed within Rusch Community Park and will include associated site improvements to ensure accessibility, safety, and long-term usability. The development and construction of a covered stage is part of the District's ongoing commitment to enhancing public spaces, promoting community engagement, and expanding recreational programming opportunities. The addition of a permanent covered stage will serve as a multi-functional venue for concerts, performances, festivals, ceremonies, movie nights, and community events. A covered stage will provide a safe, weather-resilient, and accessible space that improves the quality and consistency of events throughout the year.
