The work to be performed generally consists of on-call repair, replacement and installation of public street signs (including but not limited to regulatory signs, warning signs, street name signs and special signs), object markers and sidewalk/street barricades and rails at various locations throughout the City of Citrus Heights, and other related work as needed. This Request for Proposals (RFP) defines the scope of services and outlines the requirements that must be met by proposers interested in providing such services. Proposers shall carefully examine the entire RFP and any addenda thereto, and all related materials and data referenced in the RFP or otherwise available, and shall become fully aware of the nature and the conditions to be encountered in performing the services. To be considered responsive, Proposals must be for the entire work and must include completed proposal forms, guarantees and supplemental information. It is the Proposer's responsibility to monitor the City's website for possible addenda to this RFP to inform him/herself of the most current specifications, terms, and conditions, and to submit his/her proposal in accordance with the original proposal requirements and all addenda. The firm(s) must meet all municipal, state and federal affirmative action and equal employment opportunity practices. Proposer and its Subcontractors must be registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, subject to limited legal exceptions under Labor Code Section 1771.1. The license classification(s) required for this project are Class A - General Engineering, Class C-32 - Parking and Highway Improvement Work and/or Class 45 - Sign Contractor. There is no pre-proposal conference for this project. The City of Citrus Heights reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or portions thereof, to accept a proposal or portion thereof and to waive any minor informality or irregularity.
