Springfield Utility Board (SUB) seeks a contractor to install underground facilities consisting of three runs of three inch schedule 40 conduit and one 4x4 concrete vault with lid. Work will include, but not limited to, installing approximately 300 feet of conduit and one 4x4 concrete vault with lid in the area of North 17th Street and Main Street in Springfield OR 1. Install one 4x4 concrete term-a-duct vault, number 25C017, with lid in the planting strip between parking lot entrances. 2. Cut and trench across 17th street and sidewalks from SUB pole 84091 to new vault 25C017, install two runs of 3 inch schedule 40 conduit, about 50 feet, with 90 degree elbows to turn north towards vault. Stub up at base of pole, make connection at vault. Repair concrete and asphalt, CDF if city required. 3. Cut and repair parking lot entrance, trench and install roughly 50 feet of 3 inch conduit from the new vault headed north. At the north east corner of the parking lot install one 3 foot, 90 degree elbow with bell end and an above grade junction box. 4. Cut and trench across parking lot entrance, install two runs of 3 inch conduit from vault 25C017 south. First run turns west to the building, remove concrete walk way pad, install one run of 3 inch conduit with 90 degree elbow and stub up at building, about 80 feet. Second run goes straight from vault 25C017 to south property line, about 80 feet. Cap and bury. Work to be completed by August 29st 2025 or sooner. If this completion date could not be met, please provide a proposed completion date on bid form.
