Springfield Utility Board (SUB) seeks a contractor to install underground facilities consisting of six (6) three-inch (3") conduits and two (2) junction boxes to repair existing underground electric secondary cable for the entire length of the project. The work will consist of boring & installing two junction boxes at one location. Work will include, but not limited to, installing six (6) three-inch (3") conduits & two (2) junction boxes at 205 South 54th Street in Springfield OR. 1. Bore or trench and install one (1) three-inch (3") conduit starting from SUB Vault # 68E029, south of 205 S 54th Street Space 23 boring South (~110 ft.) to Space 49. Using long sweep elbows, sweep up and install a Junction Box 25J003 with bell end. Make penetration into vault, install bell end and blow string. 2. Trench and install two (2) three-inch (3") conduits with elbows starting at J-Box 25J003 to the shed with existing meter bases. Stub up and blow string. 3. Bore or trench and install one (1) three-inch (3") conduit starting at the new J-Box 25J003 at space 49 South to space 52 (~90 ft.) and install a new J-Box 25J004. Using long sweep elbows, sweep up and install a Junction Box 25J004. Install bell ends, blow string. 4. Trench and install two (2) three-inch (3") conduits with elbows and bell ends starting at J-Box 25J004 to the shed with existing meter bases. Stub up and blow string. 5. Contractor shall restore any disturbed landscaping to original condition or better. Work to be completed by September 30th 2025 or sooner. If this completion date could not be met, please provide a proposed completion date on bid form. The Bidder acknowledges the right of SUB to reject all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received. In addition, the Bidder recognizes the right of SUB to reject a bid if the Bidder failed to furnish the data required by the Bidding Documents, or if the bid is in any way incomplete or irregular.
