The City of Phoenix (COP) Parks and Recreation Department (PRD) requires preventative maintenance, repairs and replacement parts on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units. The contract will also include replacement units as needed. PRD is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of HVAC units located in City parks, recreation centers, and public facilities, including the Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix. Currently, equipment would include direct expansion packaged units, water source heat pumps, split systems, chilled water systems, and mini split systems. The term of this Contract will commence on or about November 1, 2025 and will continue for a period of five (5) years thereafter. Written Inquiries Due Date: August 27, 2025, 12:00pm City may make further security inquiries. Whether or not further security inquiries are made by the City, City may, at its sole, absolute and unfettered discretion, accept or reject any or all of the employees proposed by the Contractor for performing work under this Contract. Employees rejected by the City for performing services under this Contract may still be engaged by Contractor for other work not involving the City. An employee rejected for work under this Contract shall not be proposed to perform work under other City contracts or engagements without the City's prior approval.
