Renovation of a water / sewer project in Throop, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Work shall consist of various building improvements at the Authority's Throop, Archbald and Clinton Township wastewater treatment plants, including epoxy floor coatings, new laboratory cabinets and countertops, door replacements and shower stall replacements. Work under this contract shall consist of Building improvements at Archbald, Clinton, and Throop wastewater treatment plants, as indicated in the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall provide all required materials, equipment and labor to provide a complete and operable finished installation. Bids will only be received from interested parties who have requested and received bid documents from the Owner. Bid documents may be reviewed at the office of the Lackawanna River Basin Sewer Authority. Bids will only be received from interested parties who have received bid documents from the Owner. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified bank treasurers check, certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. All bids shall remain irrevocable for sixty (60) days after opening unless award is delayed due to the required approval of another government agency, in which case the bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty (120) days in compliance with Act 317 of 1978. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities.
