A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** For the base bid, the resurfacing contractor shall supply all labor, equipment and material to repair and resurface eight (8) all-weather tennis courts at the River Birch Tennis Center. Alternate #1 will include the repair and resurfacing of the front four (4) tennis courts at Evans Park. All work shall be to industry standards. All OSHA requirements and other safety guidelines associated with the work shall be followed. Provide material, equipment, and labor to repair and resurface eight tennis courts located at the River Birch Tennis Center. The Project Management Department is accepting bids for the Tennis Court Resurfacing River Birch Tennis Center, Greenville, North Carolina. For the base bid, the resurfacing contractor shall supply all labor, equipment and material to repair and resurface eight (8) all-weather tennis courts at the River Birch Tennis Center. Alternate #1 will include the repair and resurfacing of the front four (4) tennis courts at Evans Park. All work shall be to industry standards. All OSHA requirements and other safety guidelines associated with the work shall be followed. The schedule for the work outlined in this Scope of Work is to be determined, with mid to late Fall 2025 or early Spring 2026 identified as the target timeframe. Once the work starts, schedule adjustments may be permitted due to weatherrelated delays. No bid may be changed or withdrawn after the time of the opening. Modifications or withdrawals will only be accepted if submitted in writing to Mike Watson, Project Coordinator, before the specified time of the bid. The City of Greenville reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any formalities, and to accept the bid or any portion thereof that is deemed most advantageous to the City. The City has established a 10% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and 6% Women Business Enterprise (WBE) goal for the participation of MWBE firms in supplying goods and services for the completion of this project. All firms submitting bids agree to utilize minority and women-owned firms whenever possible. Questions regarding the City's MWBE Program should be directed to Wanda House, Financial Services Manager, at (252) 329-4862. Any bid submitted will be binding for 60 days after the opening. The scope of work attached represents the minimum specification or description of work to be purchased or contracted. These requirements are not intended to prevent fair responses or to eliminate competition, but they are intended for the protection of each and every proposer to ensure, if possible, that all bids submitted shall be upon a fair and comparable basis.
