Reference Number 0000396390 Bid Intent Not Available The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians (GTB, Grand Traverse Band) is requesting proposals from Building Construction Contractors interested in contracting with the GTB Purchasing Department to provide a bid on the Eyaawing Museum & Cultural Center exterior deck replacement, coating and entry curved laminated beam (ends) repairs. Scope of Services A. Demolition - Remove exterior deck concrete slab and galvanized decking, dispose. Remove galvanized handrails, save for re-installation. Remove water damaged laminated curved beam ends and fascia (only) at canopy above. Refer to Attachment 'A' (Structural Drawing). B. New Concrete Deck - Provide and install new galvanized metal decking and reinforced concrete slab. Clean all existing galvanized beams prior to new decking installation. Refer to Attachment 'A' (Structural Drawing). C. Provide and install protective epoxy or urethane coating to topside of the concrete decking after curing. Coordinate product with the Architect/Owner. D. Railings - Re-install existing galvanized railings. Clean bottom posts and apply galvanized coating. Refer to Attachment 'A' (Structural Drawing). E. Curved Laminated Canopy Beams - Sawcut and remove water damaged beam ends. Repair beam ends as required and stain/seal ends to match existing. Provide new break metal top and end covers. Remove water damaged trim board at canopy fascia. Replace with new fascia. Match existing trim and fascia colors. F. Clean site and legally remove debris from the site on a daily basis.
