Renovation of an educational facility in Greenville, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
East Carolina University is seeking the services of a qualified design firm to provide design services for the West End Dining Renovation project. The existing dining hall is due for modernization. The current layout ofthe kitchen and dining is not sufficient to serve today's dining needs. This project will allow for a more efficient kitchen layout to properly prepare and serve students. Upgrades to the kitchen equipment will allow for more effective meal preparation. The existing seating area will be reconfigured to better accommodate students during peak hours. This project will be phased in such a manner to maintain service during the academic year. The initial design work for this project will be through design development including cost estimates and a detailed phasing plan to ensure dining operations can remain open during the renovation. In order to offer architectural or engineering services in response to this solicitation, the proposer must be licensed in the State of North Carolina.
