The Contracting Agency is the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community (SITC) and its officers and employees, particularly the Construction Division who are responsible for the administration of the contract. The Construction Division is seeking competitive bids for the Medical/IT Solar and Battery back-up as described and referred to in the Scope of work. Contractors submitting bids pursuant to this RFP shall be required to commit to the execution of a contract for the work prior to the preconstruction meeting and within twenty (20) days of award notification from the owner. Contractors submitting bids pursuant to this RFP shall be required to commit to the completion of the work on or before the date stated in the "Notice to Proceed'. All deliverables and time schedules shall be negotiated and agreed upon by all parties and with all subcontracting companies and SITC prior to issua nce of NTP. However, all construction work shall be completed substantially by the end ofthe grant term of September 2026. Once schedule of materials is verified there will be a collaborative period of working days to complete the project established. Once period of working days is determined, every calendar day past working days agreed upon (must meet grant deadline) that work is not complete the contractor shall pay a 500.00 per day reimbursement to SITC baring normal work stoppages such as weather delays and Holidays etc. Swinomish Indian Tribal Community reserves the right to cancel this Request for Proposal at any time or any reason prior to award notification. Liability Insurance and Bonding Each contractor submitting a bid pursuant to this proposal shall be required to commit to and provide to SITC, at the time of the award and execution of the contract, a certificate or certificates of insurance, documenting coverages and m amounts as required by SITC that is attached to this RFP. Performance and payment bonding will be required for this project. As well as, a 5% bid bond w ill be required. The contractor shall comply and execute the Plan set and Specifications provided by MZ Solar for all Labor, materials, Inspections and necessary items for the complete Functionality intended of all Project listed in this RFP. 3. The contractor shall restore all civil scapes in like and kind to original condition or better. Match existing slope and depth. 4. Contact Swinomish Project Manager a minimum of two days before any/all digging of undisturbed soils on the jobsite.
