CVWD is requesting bids from licensed contractors for the operation, maintenance and repair of facilities located along the Coachella Canal and within the Dos Palmas Preserve (Dos Palmas). The work includes the annual cleaning of 13 existing groundwater recharge basins and as-needed maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment and parts of the Dos Palmas Water Supply System, and associated mitigation projects located along the Coachella Canal and within Dos Palmas. The schedule for the annual maintenance work involved with this initial two-year contract is as follows: Cleaning of the 13 existing groundwater recharge basins will occur in November/December of 2025 and a second time in November of 2026.
