Description

Renovation of a fire / police facility in Reading, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

As of March 3, 2026 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award was not yet been established. Each proposal shall be accompanied by bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal. Question Deadline 09/22/2025 at 2:00 PM ET The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and/or waive any informality in any bid received when such action is in the best interest of the City. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to: 1. General, plumbing/fire suppression, and heating/ventilating and air conditioning and electrical renovation of the Public Safety Training Center. 2. Project will be constructed under coordinated, concurrent multiple contracts. See Section 01 12 00 "Multiple Contract Summary" for a description of work included under each of the multiple contracts and for the responsibilities of Project coordinator.
