On-Call Mechanical and Plumbing Construction Contract ("Project") Description of Work: The Project generally involves a on-call service contractor to perform Mechanical and Plumbing systems repairs and improvements for City-owned facilities. Under this contract, Task Orders shall be issued for project work, which will primarily include mechanical, and plumbing systems scopes. The scope will include all City facilities, such as museums, community centers, police stations, park facilities, parking garages, emergency housing structures, trails, playgrounds, parks, and similar assets. In addition, the on-call construction contract will be necessary for any unanticipated urgent capital work or repair work that exceeds the capabilities of in-house City staff. Engineer's Estimate: $3,000,000.00 Bidders must submit questions or requests for information concerning any part of this bid in writing to the City via online. The City will not respond to any communication or question submitted directly to City staff or City consultants. Submit questions via online no later than Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 11:00 am. Bidders must have a valid California contractor's license, classification C-20 and C-36, to bid this project. Each bid must be accompanied by an electronic pdf copy of a bidder's bond in the sum of not less than 10% of the maximum value of the contract (for on-calls). The Contractor's Faithful Performance Bond shall be for 100% of the contract amount. The Contractor's Payment Bond shall be for 100% of the contract amount.
