**As of November 18th, 2025, the project was awarded to Ferguson Enterprises with an awarded amount of $6,988,550.25 ** A. The project involves but is not limited to the complete replacement of existing water meters and registers for most properties within the City. Individual elements of work shall include, but are not limited to 1. Removal of existing water meters. 2. Coordinating with property owners to schedule meter replacements. 3. Furnishing and installing new water meters including encoder registers and radio frequency meter interface units. 4. Water service line inventories. 5. Confined space entry. 6. Other miscellaneous work shown on the plans or specified herein. The following are approximate major quantities: 3/4 " Positive Displacement Meter 11,089 EA 1" Positive Displacement Meter 1830 EA 1.5" MACH 10 Ultrasonic Meter 331 EA 2" MACH 10 Ultrasonic Meter 225 EA 3" MACH 10 Ultrasonic Meter 89 EA 4" MACH 10 Ultrasonic Meter 43 EA 6" MACH 10 Ultrasonic Meter 1 EA The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Edina in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. Results will be posted immediately following the opening. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any portion thereof.
