Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Edina, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a 40,000-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

The purpose is to evaluate and prequalify subcontractors for the City of Edina - Fred Richards Park Project. The project includes surcharging approximately 40,000 square feet and removing trees across the project site. The estimated total construction cost is approximately $500,000. Subcontracts will be awarded for tree removals and surcharging. Responses to the Request for Qualifications are required to be submitted by the deadline specified. Obtain RFQ documents by requesting them via email. Responsibility for notification regarding addenda lies with parties contacting the construction manager. The proposed project converts an existing stop sign at the T-intersection of Feather River Drive & Driftwood Place to a roundabout, including ADA compliant curb ramps, crosswalks, and connecting to an existing Class II bike lane. The roundabout may feature a dedicated right hand turn lane onto Driftwood Place from Feather River Drive, for southwest traveling traffic. Right of Way (ROW) acquisition may be needed for the proposed right hand turn lane. Each consultant shall prepare a detailed scope of services for the design of this project based, in part and at a minimum, on information presented in this Request for Proposal, and other available information. The consultant shall provide a cost proposal, which accomplishes the objectives of the project. The consultant shall incorporate in their design the installation of the roundabout at the Feather River Drive & Driftwood Place intersection, including synchronization to City infrastructure, ADA compliant curb ramps, crosswalks, and installation of a new Class II bike lane connecting to an existing Class II bike lane. Consultants are encouraged to include items that are thought necessary for this project.
