Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Thomson, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.

This project consists of milling, asphalt paving, signing and striping the existing back parking lot of Sweetwater Park in McDuffie County. All questions must be sent via e-mail, no verbal responses will be given to oral questions. o The contractor will have 30 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date to complete project. o The contractor shall mill out 4.5 inches of the entire asphalt parking lot uniformly. o All millings shall be retained by McDuffie County. The contractor shall be responsible for the hauling and delivery of the millings. Contact Torrie Battle (Director of Public Works) at (706) 595-2591 to schedule and for the location. o The Contractor shall install the proposed base and paving ensuring that no standing water is being retained on the proposed pavement when completed. o Typical Section 165 #/sy - 12.5mm Superpave 330 #/sy - 25mm Superpave o Three (3) feet area around the perimeter of the parking lot shall be graded and grassed to ensure that no water is trapped against the new pavement. Grassing shall be done according to GDOT Specifications. All costs associated with this work shall be included in the bid price for Grading Complete. o 6 - Handicapped Parking spaces shall be installed as per GDOT Detail T-18. R7-8 signs and posts shall be installed at each location. 1 - Handicapped Parking space shall be van accessible and signed with a R7-8aP sign. All Signs shall be installed 60" above the ground.
