The Corona Loop extension project aims to expand Petaluma’s recycled water distribution network by installing additional pipelines along the Corona corridor. This expansion will connect more landscape irrigation customers, supporting efforts to offset potable water demand in areas currently served by the potable system. By strategically expanding recycled water access in alignment with the Integrated Water Master Plan, the Corona Loop extension will enhance water supply resiliency across the city. Supported by a grant from USBR, this project aligns with Petaluma's Integrated Water Master Plan and contributes to long-term water supply resiliency. As of Sept 3, 2025, this project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
