DESIGN BUILD Replace Existing Water Main Phase 2 and New Pump Station Location United States Coast Guard Training Center (TRACEN) Petaluma, CA CCL - $5,000,000 - $10,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Performance period is 576 calendar days This project is to design and build a new water supply line between the City of Petaluma water distribution system and USCG TRACEN's water pump station at King Road and Bodega Ave. Project also includes the water pump station replacement, water treatment equipment replacement, water storage tank modifications, and communication between the pump station and TRACEN Petaluma. Provide the work according to this specification, as shown on the enclosed drawing sheets, and in accordance with the Project Basis Narrative included in Appendix B. This is a construction contract where the NMACC III firm shall perform the following Design-Build construction services at USCG TRACEN Petaluma. Project components include the following: 1. Pipeline - Approximately 3.0 mile of 10-IN diameter pipeline and appurtenances 2. Pump Station - New KRPS, including pumping chlorination equipment & facilities, structural, and demolition of the existing KRPS 3.Treatment - A chemical dosing system at KRPS to boost the residual chlorine level in the drinking water being pumped to TRACEN 4. SCADA - Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system for alarms, monitoring and control of KRPS and water storage tanks 5. Cyber Security - USCG and UFC-4-010-06 cybersecurity requirements applied to facility related control systems. 6. Water Storage Tanks - Tank level monitor and controls, mixing improvements, and flow meter on the tank discharge manifold 7. Fiber Optic Cable - Installed between KRPS and TRACEN Building 500. Carries communications data for SCADA, CCTV, and optionally IDS and ES as dictated during design. 8. Conduct fire hydrant flow and pressure tests 9. Procure all approvals, permits, inspections, lease agreement, etc. for a successful project completion
