The Town of Woodbury is soliciting quotations for winter sand. The Board of Selectmen may accept the bid, which in its sole discretion, it determines to be in its own best interest, or it may reject any or all bids. The bidding documents in no way establish the rights of any bidder to award of the contract. Questions may be directed to Rich Lamothe, Director, Woodbury Department of Public Works, at(203)263-3633. The Town of Woodbury is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. Purchase Order must be complete with all material delivered by December 15, 2025. The Town of Woodbury is requesting quotations for the delivery of approximately 2,000 tons of sand for snow and ice control for the winter season 2025-26. Sand shall be brown in color. All material shall conform to the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation Reference File 182-H. The successful bidder shall supply a representative sample (testing shall be done by Town), Material Safety Data Sheets and, prior to delivery, a current Certificate of Insurance.
