Site work and renovation of a library in Woodbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library; and for site work for a library.

EPDM roof replacement on the Town's Library building. Questions regarding this proposal should be directed to Ed McGrath, Facilities Management, at 203-885-3278. SCOPE OF SERVICES FOR LIBRARY FLAT ROOF MEMBRANE REPLACEMENT (+/- 3,600 S.F. INCLUDING PARAPET WALLS) 1. Remove existing flat EPDM roof to existing decking, parapets and legal disposal of all debris from property. 2. Remove existing aluminum drip edge to existing wood nailers/parapet. 3. Install 2 (Two) additional 2x wood nailers to the entire parapet/perimeter. 4. Install/perform ALL types of work per typical factory installation requirements. 5. Install 2 (Two) layers of 3-inch polyisocyanurate insulation (Seams of insulation layers to be offset). 6. Install polyisocyanurate "Q" panels: make crickets between drains and ending at the associated parapet. Center of cricket to be 8-feet wide. 7. Mechanically fasten insulation with Olympic fasteners or similar and 3-inch plates ( 16 plates/fasteners per board (32 square feet)). 8. Install russ strip (with factory applied peel and stick) along the parapet walls and properly fasten. 9. Install Genflex or similar .060 (scrim reinforced/self-adhered) EPDM over insulation (Fully adhered system). 10. EPDM to run a minimum of 3-inches down front of parapet. 11. All seams to be cleaned and primed. All cleaning and priming should be done so that an inspection will clearly show the appropriate management of both cleaning and priming (off set). 12. Use 3-inch seam tape on all seams. 13. All seams to be reinforced with 6-inch bar anchor tape or cover tape. All cleaning and priming should be done so that an inspection will clearly show the appropriate use of both cleaning and priming (off set). 14. Drains: Reuse existing drain. One full tube of water-stop per drain. Install per typical factory installation requirements. 15. Vents: Install peel and stick pipe boots. Reinforce edge of boot with 6" cover tape or bar anchor tape. 16. Penetrations: Wrap inside/outside corners with peel and stick flashing (4 pieces) or factory-made corners. Install per typical factory installation requirements. 17. Install .032 aluminum extension around perimeter (parapet) to cover (2) additional wood nailers (color white). 18. Install C- 6 (.032 aluminum drip edge (color white) around perimeter of said building. 19. Install T-Patches on all "T" joints (peel and stick factory patches). 20. Install EPDM expansion joint/flashing between the new and old library. 21. All seams, t-patches, bar anchor tape, cover tape, uncured flashing, et cetera on the entire roof, shall be caulked with lap sealant. 22. Legal removal of all debris from premises. 23. Obtain building permit from the Town of Woodbury (fee will be waived). 24. Photographs of all work shall be taken and provided to the Town's Building Official for final inspection review.
