No definite date for the rebid.** The Work Site is located near Unit 2B, Unit 3A, of the Reclamation District Levee System and near Highway 70 and Plumas Arboga Road. The work generally consists of removal of the existing pumps and motors, inspection of the existing pumps, repairing the pumps as necessary, replacing the bowls, bearings, gaskets, etc. on the three main pumps, reinstallation of the existing pumps. Proposals shall be prepared in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Contract Documents, on the forms therein or copies thereof, and shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid. Upon being awarded the contract, Contractor shall provide a 100% Public Works Payment Bond and a 100% Performance Bond. No Proposal will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the laws of this State to perform the work herein described and who does not possess a D-21 license or its equivalent for the type of work called for under this project. The deadline for submitting questions is Wednesday September 10, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. The Contract time for performance shall begin on the date specified in the written Notice to Proceed and shall extend through November 30, 2025. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any Proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which, however, shall not extend beyond 90 days from the bid opening date. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
