**As of October 20, 2025, the project was awarded to American Asphalt Paving Co. Inc., with an awarded amount of $530,345.75** Briefly, bids are invited for the 2024 FY CDBG Pave Project, which includes, but is not limited to, the following items: pavement milling; pavement base repair with 6 of 2A Stone and 4 of Superpave Base Course, 25mm WMA; 2 Superpave Binder Course, 19mm WMA; Superpave Leveling/ Scratch Course, 9.5mm WMA; Asphalt Curb; 1 1/2 Superpave Wearing Course, 9.5mm WMA, ADA Curb Ramps, etc., all as required for the planned work areas along Lincoln Street, Grant Street and Thomas Street, as noted and as provided for within the contract documents and as shown on the project drawings Bid proposals must be on the forms provided by Exeter Borough contained within the bid documents. Bid Security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit payment and performance bonds in amounts each equal to 100% of the contract price within 10 days of the contract being awarded and will also be required to submit a one-year maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price prior to final payment. In addition to EEO Executive Order 11246, Contractors must also establish a 6.9% goal for female participation and 0.6% goal for minority participation in the aggregate on-site construction work force for contracts in excess of $10,000.00 as per the notice of requirement for affirmative action as contained in the contract documents. Exeter Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portion thereof or to waive informalities in the bidding. Exeter Borough also reserves the right to add and/or delete items of work or streets/work areas in part or in whole in order to award a contract based on the funds appropriated for this project.
