Description

Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Crossfield, Alberta. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

Bridge File (BF) 75095 replacement project. BF 75095 is a 2117 mm span x 1595 mm rise RPP Ellipse Culvert that was constructed in 1959. The culvert is located on Western Drive within the Town boundary, approximately 585 m east of Range Road 12 within SW 26-28-1-W5M. The culvert carries a tributary to Nose Creek and due to cracked longitudinal seams, has a Structural Condition Rating of 22%. The replacement of the culvert is a high priority. TIMELINE: RFP for engineering services has been awarded. A final report is expected by November 2025 in support of an STIP Grant Application. Schedules for detailed design and construction to be determined. *Budget is unreleased.
