Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
For this project, the Village of West Milwaukee will ONLY be receiving and accepting bids for the 2025 Sidewalk and Alley Improvements Project via the online electronic bid service through online. The work generally consists of the following: Restoration - 1 LS, Traffic Control - 1 LS, Erosion and Dust Control - 1 LS, Pavement Sawing - 431 LF, Milling Pavement - 2 Inches - 498 SY, 7 Inch Concrete Base Repair - 150 SY, Concrete Walk Removal - 1,258 SF, Driveway Pavement Removal - 772 SF, Concrete Curb & Gutter Removal - 42 LF, Dense Graded Base (3/4") - 64 TON, 31" Concrete Curb & Gutter - 42 LF, 5" Concrete Sidewalk - 1,258 SF, 7" Concrete Driveway - 86 SY, Bit. Concrete Surface (4 LT 58-28 S) - 61 TON \ Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Village of West Milwaukee in an amount of 5 percent (5%) of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 10 days after the Award, the Check or Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages Bids shall be submitted on the bid form provided and all blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. The electronic bid form will be available for completion beginning Wednesday, September 17, 2025. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid and Bids which best serve the interests of the Village. Turf restoration shall be completed in the Spring of 2026.
