Demolition and site work for a transportation facility in Chico, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 8,980-square-foot, three-story above grade transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

This project consists of demolishing three (3) WWIIera buildings at the Chico Regional Airport. Buildings to be demolished are located at the following addresses 1. 160 Convair Ave. - approx.. 3,330 sf- single story, wood 2. 170 Airpark Blvd. - approx.. 3,250 sf- single story, wood 3. 695 Fortress St. - approx.. 2,400 sf- single story, wood The Contractor shall provide all necessary permits, labor, materials and required equipment to demolish the three (3) buildings and associated hazardous material per local, State of California, and Federal requirements. The term of the Contract will be a period of up to 18-months, with a possibility of extension. The work to be done consists of furnishing all labor, methods and processes, implements, tools, machinery, and materials, except as otherwise specified, which are necessary and required to construct and put in complete order for use the portion ofthe street, road, public right of way, or public property designated in the contract, and to leave the grounds or property in a neat condition. Questions and Requests for Information regarding the project must be submitted through the online bid site. Responses to questions will be posted on the bid site. Questions and Requests for Information must be submitted by 5:00 P.M. seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening. The bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish to the City evidence of insurance coverage(s) and performance/labor and materials bonds in full compliance with the provisions of the Contract documents. INSURANCE; BONDS REQUIRED - The bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish to the City evidence of insurance coverage(s) and performance/labor and materials bonds in full compliance with the provisions of the Contract documents. LICENSING REQUIREMENTS - The Contractor shall possess a B-General Building Contractor License and a C-21 Demolition Contractor License issued by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). A Class A-General Engineering Contractor License is highly preferred. Contractor shall also hold a C-22 Asbestos Certification and a Lead-Related Construction Certification. The contractor shall maintain all licenses and certifications in a current status for the duration of the project. PREVAILING WAGES: PAYMENT REQUIRED - State prevailing wages are required to be paid to members of each craft or classification performing work on this project. The City reserves the right to contract for one, two, or all three buildings. The City also reserves the right to contract with multiple bidders for different buildings, whichever is in the best interest of the City.
