Bloomsburg Public Works & Recycling Center Roof Replacements. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required to replace the existing roof material with standing seam metal panels at both the Bloomsburg Public Works Building and Recycling Center. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. The Town of Bloomsburg reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. All labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to complete the full removal and disposal of all existing roofing materials down to the structural members and deck, including underlayment, flashing, fasteners, and accessories. Following demolition, roof deck is to be inspected and repaired as needed to ensure it is structurally sound and ready for new installation. Install underlayment and moisture barrier prior to the placement of new standing seam metal roof panels. Include all necessary trims, flashings, fasteners, fascia, gutters, and downspouts and install in accordance with manufacturer specifications. All roof penetrations, curbs, and edge conditions to be properly integrated into the new system. Comply with all applicable building codes and subject to final inspection and approval by building code official. Structural modifications are excluded from this scope of work unless specifically identified in the contract documents.
