The US Army Corps of Engineers - Rock Island District is seeking businesses registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to perform indefinite delivery architect-engineer (A/E) services focused primarily on fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) hydraulic structure design and contract document development. Required services include preparing plans, specifications, design analyses, cost estimates, and other contract documents. Additional tasks may involve engineering support during construction, such as reviewing fabricator submittals or shop drawings, responding to Requests for Information, assisting with contract modifications, and conducting quality assurance inspections alongside Government personnel during FRP structure fabrication. Projects may involve designing, reviewing, and inspecting various FRP hydraulic structures, including culvert valves, culvert valve bulkheads, miter gates, vertical lift gates, dewatering structures, sector gates, Tainter gates, and wicket gates. QA inspections during fabrication must be documented in written reports submitted to USACE. Location: Contiguous United States (services may be performed outside the Rock Island District boundaries). The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
