See Instructions to Bidders for additional bidding requirements. Necessary to construct the project titled FY2026 LMIG - Leveling, Overlay, and Stripping of Iowa River Road. In general, the project consists of road leveling and overlaying of Iowa River Road from Twin Lakes Road to the Bacon / Coffee County Line. The road will be deep patched with 19 mm asphalt; leveled with 82.5 pounds per square yard of 4.75mm asphalt and overlayed with 12.5 mm Superpave and re-stripped. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing, latest edition. The Owner: reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any and all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder whom the owner believes would not be in the best interest of the project to make an award to that bidder whether because the bid is not responsive, the bidder is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability, or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days.
