Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond with satisfactory corporate surety in the amount of 10% of the bid amount. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment bond in the amount of 100% of the bid. This program is funded through the Ohio Department of Development Brownfield Remediation Program Grant, and therefore SPECIAL ATTENTION MUST BE GIVEN to all requirements, particularly to State of Ohio prevailing wage rate requirements, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the County.
