Introduction : The Manchester Housing Authority (MHA) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to conduct a Energy Audit for its public housing portfolio. Manchester Housing Authority (MHA) owns and manages a total of 48 dwelling units across two properties: Hilltop and Lakeview. The goal of this audit is to identify cost-effective energy conservation measures, improve efficiency, and support long-term capital planning and HUD compliance. SCOPE OF SERVICES : The selected firm will be responsible for providing a complete energy audit in accordance with current HUD regulations and best practices, which includes but is not limited to: 1. Building Assessment On-site inspection of all units and common areas. Review of mechanical systems, HVAC, lighting, appliance, insulation, windows, and water usage. 2. Utility Analysis Review of historical utility consumption (electric, water, sewer) for each site. Benchmarking against comparable buildings. 3. Recommendations Identify cost-effective energy and water conservation measures. Provide estimated savings, payback periods, and cost estimates. Prioritize recommendations based on savings and feasibility. 4. Final Report Summarize findings and recommendations in a professional report. Include supporting data, calculations, and photographs.
