Renovation of a mixed-use development in Manchester, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and residential development.
Manchester Housing Authority - IQC, Task 1 Scope of Work: Renovations to the existing Administration Office and adjacent vacant dwelling unit to include: - Executive Director's Office & Closet - Kitchenette - Handicap Accessible Restroom - Multi-Purpose Room - Storage Room A certified check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the HousingAuthority, or satisfactorybond executed byan acceptable surety on the Bid Bond form contained in the Specifications, or other form acceptable to HUD and the LHA, and in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. All sureties must be authorized to transact business in the State of Alabama and must be listed on the U.S. Treasury Department Circular No. 570 (most current list), published annually listing companies approved to act as surety on bonds securing government contracts, and said surety or sureties must be in accordance with maximum underwriting limits on each contract as specified in the above mentioned Circular No. 570. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Specifications must be paid on this Project. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority. Question Deadline 10/22/2025
