The scope of the work for this project includes the construction of a Softball Field and Track Improvement for the Manchester High School. Facilities to be constructed include, but are not limited to: Site work, grading, storm drainage, natural turf practice football field, asphalt running track, softball fields and concession, toilets and press box, and parking lots construction. Each bid must be accompanied with a BID BOND (Bond only; certified checks or other forms are not acceptable) in an amount equal to 5% of the base bid, payable to the OWNER and issued by a Surety authorized to do business in the State of Georgia, in order to guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract to construct the project strictly within the terms and conditions stated in this bid and in the bidding and Contract Documents, should the construction contract be awarded to him. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a bond for the faithful performance on the contract and a bond to secure payment of all claims for materials furnished and/or labor performed in performance of the project, both in amounts equal to 100% of the Contract Price.
