Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ely, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and playground / park / athletic field.

The project consists of upgrading the existing Duck Pond located just East of the White Pine County Library on the corner of Clark Street and 10th Street in Ely, Nevada. Final constructed improvements may include parking, concrete flatwork, kiosk, pond viewing shelters, bridge, pond liner, pond wetland (ltration system, pump house, waterfall feature, duck refuge islands, fencing, benches, picnic tables, and landscape improvements. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the OWNER for five percent of the total amount of the Bid. As soon as the Bid prices have been compared, the OWNER will return the Bonds of all except the three lowest responsible, responsive Bidders. When the Agreement is executed, the bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful Bidders will be returned. The Bid Bond of the successful Bidder will be retained until the Payment Bond and Performance Bond have been executed and approved, after which it will be returned. A certified check may be used in lieu of a Bid Bond. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract. Question Deadline 09/23/2025 at 2:00 PM PT Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidation damages, the sum of $1,000.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as provided in the Agreement Documents. Bidder hereby agrees to commence Work under this Agreement on or before a date to be specified in the Notice to Proceed and to fully complete the Project within 180 consecutive calendar days thereafter. Bid Security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to waive any informalities or minor defects in a Bid at the OWNER's sole discretion to the extent allowed by law. In no case shall the wage rates be less than as prescribed by the State Labor Commissioner or Nevada law (if applicable, see NRS 338.080). Prevailing wage shall include zone rates. The winning Bidder shall submit monthly records for itself and all subcontractors showing the name, occupation, driver's license or identification number (including State of issuance) of all employees working on the Project and actual wages paid to all such employees (NRS 338.070(5)-(6)). These records shall be submitted to the OWNER no later than fifteen (15) days after the end of each month.
