The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) is seeking a contractor to provide landscaping maintenance services at its Springfield Bus Operations and Maintenance Facility located at 665 Cottage Street, Springfield, MA 01104. Any contract resulting from this invitation for bids (ifb) is subject to a financial assistance contract between the authority and the massachusetts department of transportation (massdot) and the federal transit administration (fta). All bidders will be required to certify that they are not on the attorney general's list of ineligible contractors. Further, the contractor will be required to comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity laws and regulations. Pvta hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this invitation for bids (ifb), advertisement or solicitation, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award. Pvta reserves the right to reject any and all bids as submitted in response to this invitation for bids (ifb), and to waive informalities and irregularities, as it deems in its best interest Question Deadline 10/15/2025 at 5:00 PM ET The deadline for written questions and requests for clarifications regarding the ifb or ifb process .
