Site work for a water / sewer project in Morgantown, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes construction of +/- 1,399 LF of 8 PVC gravity sewer main, ten (10) standard manholes, +/- 50 LF of 16 steel casing bore and jack, and all other related appurtenances. No Bid will be received unless accompanied by a Bid Bond equal to at least five percent of the Bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that after a Bid is accepted, Bidder will execute and file the Agreement, Insurance Certificate, and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen days after the Notice of Award. Bids will be accepted from only those Bidders who obtain Documents from the Owner. The Morgantown Utility Board reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality and/or technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the time set for opening Bids. The work will be substantially complete and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within 90 consecutive calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 10/01/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Engineer. All requests for interpretation must be received at least five working days (M-F) prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids.
