Demolition for a municipal facility in Morgantown, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
Separate, sealed bids are requested for asbestos abatement and demolition of 71 Donley Street. Bids must be submitted using a two-envelope system. Envelope No. 1 must contain the Bid Bond, Certification of Compliance, Power of Attorney, and any other documents required on the Bid Opening Checklist. Envelope No. 2 must be a separate, sealed envelope marked Bid Proposal and must include the completed and signed Bid Proposal. Both envelopes must specify the name and address of the bidder, the bidders WV Contractors License Number, the bid call reference, project description, and project address. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified cashiers check payable to the City of Morgantown for 5% of the base bid. All bidders must hold a current West Virginia contractors license on the date of the Bid Opening. The City of Morgantown reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities.
