This project will provide lighting and sidewalk improvements along G Street between 6th Street to 3rd Street, along 5th Street between G Street to H Street, and along H Street between 5th and 6th Streets. The City desires to utilize these segments as a multi-use area in addition to providing parking spaces. The project will also fund Phase I of the Owl Lot Plaza redesign, including design, engineering, and public engagement. As part of this project, the City launched a 'Buy-a-Brick' campaign allowing citizens and local businesses to purchase personalized bricks for the project. The bricks will form part of the patio base of the Owl Lot Plaza near the 5th and H Street sidewalks. The project is included in the City's 2025-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of September 29, 2025, project is in design phase. Architect not identified.
