Site work for a water / sewer project in Nampa, Idaho. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of November 13th, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded by the end of December, 2025.** The work includes drilling one (1) 22-inch exploratory well hole for the purposes of estimating aquifer yield, hydraulic characteristics, and water quality to a depth of approximately 720 feet. It also includes installation of an 8-inch casing with five segments of stainless steel screen with gravel pack at strategic depths targeting five (5) production zones. Construction also includes the placement of five (5) 2-inch piezometers on the outside of the 8-inch casing with varying depths targeting the same five (5) production zones. Testing will include isolating each of the five production zones in the 8-inch casing, performing five (5) 24-hour pump tests, and managing the control and disposal of pump test water. Each of the five (5) zones to be tested exhibit to some degree artesian pressures that will need to be controlled by the Contractor. After testing is complete the 8-inch casing shall be abandoned in place. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Nampa as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. City of Nampa reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Nampa. Question Deadline 10/08/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
